Step 3: Write what you knew before watching it
• Did you know anything about the topic before watching?
• What did you expect to see?
• What questions did you have in your mind?
Step 4: Give a short summary of the documentary
• Who or what is the documentary about?
• What happens in the documentary? Mention the main events.
• Where was it filmed?
Step 5: Talk about sound, camera work, interviews, and effects
• Did you like the sound and music?
• Were the pictures clear and good?
• How was the camera work? Were the shots interesting?
• Did you like the interviews? What did you learn from them?
• Were there any special effects? Did you like them?
Step 6: Give your opinion and recommendation
• Which part did you like the most?
• What did you learn from the documentary?
• Did anything surprise you?
• Were there any weak points or drawbacks?
• Would you recommend this documentary to others? Why?
